Adjective

• An adjective modifies a noun. It describes and qualifies a noun.
• Adjectives are always near the noun or pronoun they are describing.
• Adjectives never change form with singular, plural, feminine or masculine nouns.
  • Nice girl, nice boy
  • A red house, two red houses
• Adjectives can have three degrees:

1. Positive: describes a noun.

  •  a short holiday
  •  beautiful hats
  • this is broken
  • the green house, the big boat
  • the house is green, the boat is big
2. Comparative: compares two people, places, or things and show how they are different.

  •  mice are smaller than rats
3. Superlative: compares more than two things.

  •  She is the tallest of the three
